No Place for Being

Preface

No Place for Being is a personal creation which deals with a character and his confrontation with absurdism through interactions he has with others. Taking inspiration from all three works of literature, No Place for Being was created with the intention of unveiling how ultimately meaningless much of our actions are. Nevertheless, we pursue what gives us happiness. We struggle onward. And so, filled with existential dread and anxiety, this play aims to show the ultimate isolation there is in life. Individuals shall never be able to free themselves of how others view them and that our own personal search for meaning will always be ridiculed. Truly, in the end, we find that there are no answers to be found, no meaning that's certain, and no place for being in this absurd world.
